Titanium Nitride (TIN) crystal structure by ionic bonding, metal bonding and covalent bonding mixture, which nitrogen p-orbital energy level is lower than the Fermi energy level, this structure makes the movement of free electrons and the d-orbital movement in the metal is somewhat similar to the movement of free electrons, and thus Chin Nitride thin film has a good electrical conductivity, and also has a gold, silver and other precious metal films with similar optical properties, when the film is thinner, the film is in the visible region of translucent and highly reflective in the infrared region. TiN films also have the advantages of wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
